The Notorious B.I.G Is Getting A Show Based On His Life

The contributions of the late great Notorious B.I.G won’t soon be forgotten. Especially not now, since TBS has greenlit a scripted comedy series based on the life of the rapper.

The show is titled “Think B.I.G.” and it follows the misadventures of an inner city teenager as he tries to find ways to make money to support his newborn son and young daughter. It’ll incorporate lyrics from many of Biggie’s songs. B.I.G’s mother, Voletta Wallace will also be on hand to help with the show.

Honestly, it’s lit. When I first heard about the show, I was kind of skeptical. But, now that I think about it, it makes more sense. It sounds like it will be kind of similar to Chris Rock’s show Everybody Hates Chris.

The musical contributions of the late rapper can’t be understated. He’s on most of your favorite rappers list of best MC’s to ever enter the rap game.

Either way, it’s exciting. I’m very curious to see how the portray the story. Will it take place in the 90’s? Who’s going to play the characters? I know that somewhere, Lil Kim is probably wondering who’s going to be playing her. Not Naturi Naughton, we see how that worked out.
